  25. Setup Specialist 97b is a rapid setup development tool for Windows(r) 95 and
  26. Windows NT(r). Setup Specialist offers a user-friendly visual development
  27. environment that does not require you to learn any script language...all
  28. options can be set using a wizard-like graphical interface. It provides a
  29. training card feature that guides you through all the steps necessary to
  30. create your setup program. Creating a professional-looking setup program for
  31. your software has never been easier!
  32. Setup Specialist creates 32 bit as well as 16 bit setup programs and provides
  33. support for selective installations, uninstall, creation of program groups
  34. and registry modifications and creates English as well as German setup
  35. programs. The setup programs created by Setup Specialist are featured by the
  36. typical Windows 95 wizard appearance. Setup can check for a variety of
  37. existing requirements including minimum display properties and CPU, Windows
  38. platform and version. Creating a single EXE file allows you to easily
  39. distribute your applications in a single file, through the web, internet, and
  40. even E-mail. And finally Setup Specialist supports many other features, e.g.
  41. billboards, checking for an expiration date, efficient data compression,
  42. modification of INI files, password protection, and more.

  63. If you received this version of Setup Specialist on a floppy disk please
  64. follow the instructions on the disk label to install Setup Specialist.

  66. If you received this version of Setup Specialist in a ZIP file (for example,
  67. SSPCL97B.ZIP), you can install it as follows:

  69. First extract the files to a temporary directory. You can delete this
  70. directory when setup has completed.

  72. - On Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.x:  Select Run from the Taskbar Start menu,
  73.   type the full name of the temporary directory followed by a backslash and
  74.   the name of the installation program (e.g., C:\SSPCLST.TMP\SETUP.EXE),
  75.   press the ENTER key, and follow the instructions displayed.

  77. - On Windows NT 3.51:  Activate the Program Manager, select Run from the File
  78.   menu, type the full name of the temporary directory followed by a backslash
  79.   and the name of the installation program (e.g., C:\SSPCLST.TMP\SETUP.EXE),

  86. Setup Specialist does not work correctly under Microsoft(r) Win32s(r).

  88. The "custom bitmap" feature does _not_ work correctly if you select "Windows
  89. (16-bit)" as the target operating system.

  95. Setup Specialist is Shareware, which means that you may evaluate it for a
  96. period of thirty (30) days from the date of its original installation and
  97. use. After the evaluation period has elapsed or if you want to distribute
  98. any of the setup programs created by Setup Specialist you must register it.
  99. The registration fee for Setup Specialist is US-$ 89 or DM 149.

  117. (select About from the Setup Specialist Help menu to check) you are hereby
  118. licensed to (a) make as many copies of the Shareware version of this software
  119. and documentation as you wish; (b) give exact copies of the original
  120. Shareware version to anyone; and (c) distribute the Shareware version of the
  121. software and documentation in its unmodified form via electronic means.
